Prepvolleyball.com continuing with their “High Five” theme for the day; they asked two respected college recruiting coordinators to share those five freshmen (Class of 2021) who are destined to be no worse than top 25 in our Senior Aces when they are rising seniors in high school. Here they are (the words in quotations are from the college coaches):

Ally Batenhorst, OH, HJV 15 Elite & Seven Lakes (TX) – Batenhorst, who stands 6-4 with terrific body control, played up for Houston Juniors last year and dominated. She is one of the leading freshman attackers in the nation this fall.

“6-rotation pin who hits at a high contact point. Loves to pass and is a complete player with all the physical tools. Probably National Team potential with the right training.”

“The kid can do it all- I’ve seen her attack all three positions at a high level- it’s cool seeing her play wherever the team needs her. Has a good touch as a passer: being 6’4 you wouldn’t expect that. Her arm is fast- as she keeps getting stronger and adding more power she will be scary.”
